What is it?

This is a free, two-week workshop that will equip you with everything you need to develop a mindfulness habit that sticks. If you’ve been meaning to meditate more often or cut out a habit you know isn’t serving you, this workshop is for you. It includes three, hour-long Zoom calls, informational handouts with activities, and a daily accountability network (to help with the sticking). By the end:

  • you will understand how to form, adjust, and maintain your habits

  • you will develop the foundation for a mindfulness practice that suits your needs

  • you will get access to resources that support you as you build other habits moving forward

  • you will learn how a mindfulness habit gives you the ultimate competitive advantage, regardless of your field

  • you will have practiced mindfulness consistently for two weeks with the option to stay in an accountability network afterward

When is it?

All Zoom sessions will take place on Monday 7-8pm EDT on the 19th and 26th of July with a closing session on the 1st of August. During the two weeks, you’ll be asked to send one text to an assigned participant asking whether they’ve completed their practice and be open to receiving one text holding you accountable in return.

What do I do?

In return for this experience we ask you to commit to showing up fully as if you paid for it. Join all three Zoom calls, practice mindfulness daily, and send one text each day to help hold another participant accountable. All things included, expect an hour and a half commitment both weeks with a final Zoom call to wrap things up.

Why a mindfulness habit?

Habits are by definition subconscious. They exist as patterns in our brain formed by repeated action. With enough repetition, our brilliant minds will take the hint and make the process automatic so we can save our mental energy for other purposes. If we automate a behavior that serves us in the long-term, excellent. If it’s a behavior that serves us short-term at the cost of our long-term wellbeing, less excellent.

Mindfulness is a key to unlocking these unconscious patterns and reprogramming our habits. It’s a state of non-judgmental awareness that gives us the space to identify and modify our unconscious behaviors. By developing a mindfulness habit you are developing focus, compassion, and discernment, and also building the foundation for all other inner work, taking a step toward the ultimate goal of unshakeable inner peace.

We’re offering this workshop for free because we believe everyone is served by a mindfulness practice. The techniques themselves are simple and easy to learn, but consistent practice is much more difficult. For this reason, we’re focused on delivering a powerful experience that will help you feel confident in your practice and your presence.
